FIELDHOUSE FIRST AID provides high quality First Aid training courses for schools, groups and individuals.
FIELDHOUSE FIRST AID is a specialist training company, enabling courses to be tailored to your particular requirements.
It specialise's in courses for:
- D of E expedition leaders
- School visit leaders
- Outdoor adventurous activity instructors and providers
- Participants in outdoor activities
- Sports coaches
- Clubs: canoeing, climbing, mountain biking, sailing
- Guide and Scout Leaders
- Anyone whose work or hobby takes them off the beaten track: farmers
All courses are run by Julie Fieldhouse under the authority of Rescue Emergency Care and are delivered according to Health and Safety Executive regulations. As well as being a First Aid Trainer, Julie Fieldhouse is a Summer Mountain Leader, she also works as freelance Mountain Leader currenty with A-Z Expeditions. Julie has over 20 years experience of taking part in and leading adventurous activities. She has a passion for the outdoors and for encouraging safe participation for all.
All courses are based on practical learning using scenarios to develop essential skills. Courses are dynamic and fun with lots of practical activity both indoors and outside depending on the target group and venue.
Assessment of participants’ abilities is ongoing throughout the course. Certificates are valid for 3 years.
Courses are held at various venues around East Anglia. Alternatively courses for up to 12 people can be organised specifically for your School or group at either your own venue or one nearby.
